A Thermionic Tube, also called an electron valve or electron tube, is an important device in electronic circuits, that combine rectification and signal amplification/modulation functionality. This is commonly used in early electronics before semiconductors, still relevant for niche applications, vintage electronics restoration, and education.
A. Diode on Base: The tube warms the cathode so electrons can flow one way and rectify the AC into DC with 2x anodes for "full wave" rectification. 4mm IEC terminals provided.
B. Triode on Base: A tube with a cathode heater and three electrodes can amplify power with just a small charge. The tube also has 4mm spin free IEC terminals for easy connections.
