The Hot Plate is a versatile laboratory tool with a 240V AC power supply and 600 watts of heating power. It is made of heat-resistant materials and is controlled by a Simmerstat to adjust temperatures. It ensures even plate temperature for accurate experiments and tests.
A. Plain: For general laboratory use; This Simmerstat temperature control allows for heat adjustment across a 1 to 10 scale, providing a range from zero to maximum. At the highest setting, the plate temperature can reach approximately 450 degrees Celsius.
B. PTFE Plated: Has PTFE (Teflon) coated top plate; 'Simmerstat' temperature control provides heat adjustment from zero to full over a scale from 1 to 10. At the setting of 10, maximum plate temperature is approx. 450deg.C.
