Electrostatics Kit

Simple PSSC: Uses a variety of materials for conducting electrostatic experiments like plastic strips and rubbing cloths to generate both positive and negative charges. Kit contains: 

• 9 x Polystyrene Balls
• 2 x Cloth, Cotton
• 2 x Cloth, Woolen
• 6 x Wooden Clothes Pegs
• 1 x Nylon Filament x3.5 meters long
• 1 x Small Paint Brush
• 1 x Bottle graphite in Alcohol 25ml
• 6 x Insulators, polythene, 130x10x3mm
• 5 x Pins
• 5 x Acrylic Strip, transparent, 3mm thick, (replaces older style acetate strip but produces same polarity charge)
• 5 x Vinyl Strip, approx.1mm thick.

Advanced Nuffield Type: Features a metal vane electroscope and various components to teach and facilitate advanced electrostatics experiments. Kit contains:

• 1 x Electroscope, Metal Vane. With standard disc electrode
• 1 x Proof Plane on insulated handle 20mm dia.
• 1 x Electrophorus with insulating plates. 50mm dia.
• 4 x Pith Balls (coated with a conductive film)
• 1 x Nylon Filament for suspending pith balls
• 2 x Aluminum Cans 60x30mm dia.
• 2 x Polythene Tiles for insulation 100 x 100 x 3mm thick
