If you have ever tried to capture a heating or cooling curve in a busy classroom, you know the routine: one student watches the thermometer, another calls out the time, a third scribbles values that later have to be typed into a spreadsheet. By the time the graph appears, the teachable moment has passed.

The USB Temperature Sensor SUGU-T removes every one of those steps. Plug it into a PC, open its dedicated web application, and the temperature–time graph draws itself — live, in front of the whole class, while the experiment is still happening.

The SUGU-T connects to your computer with a single 1 m USB cable that carries both power and data. There is no separate power adapter, no battery to charge. It works with Windows 11 and ChromeOS, which makes it a natural fit for school Chromebook fleets and shared laboratory PCs alike.

The dedicated web application — USB Temperature Sensor SUGU-T — displays real-time graphs of measurement data directly on your PC. As the sensor registers thermal changes, the temperature–time curve builds on screen automatically. Project it for the whole class and every student watches the exothermic spike or the cooling curve unfold as it happens, not as a homework exercise afterwards.

A detachable stainless steel sheath (Ø4 × 155 mm) protects the sensing element during probe measurements — stirring it through a beaker, tracking a reaction, following a melting-point run. When the task changes to surface temperature or ambient air temperature, simply remove the sheath and measure directly. One sensor, two measurement styles.

The SUGU-T also operates as a stand-alone device. Connect it to any USB power source — even without the application — and read live values straight from the on-board LCD, with 0.1 °C resolution and a brisk 10 Hz refresh. It is a handy bench thermometer whenever full data logging is not needed.
