This Motor Generator Kit Small contains a single DC electric motor with a two-step Pulley. It can be easily fixed to a bench, and its overhanging pulley allows for the lifting of a weight using a thin cord. This provides a means to measure the electrical work done and compare it to the mechanical work done.
The weight can then be released to drive the motor as a generator, allowing for the recovery of power from kinetic energy. The kit comes mounted on a compact plastic base with 4mm socket head connection terminals.
