Helmholtz Coils are large air-wound coils that can be connected to a power source and are aligned on the same axis for measuring and studying magnetic fields. They are typically paired with a magnetic measuring probe and a constant current power source for optimal results.
This single or paired set of Helmholtz Coils is constructed from polycarbonate, offering both high temperature tolerance and physical durability. Designed for magnetism research, the large air coil is equipped with a sturdy plastic base, allowing it to stand vertically on a table. These coils are commonly used in pairs for a variety of applications.
