10-Key Blood Cell Counter | Benchtop Digital Model
Digital Bench Top Hemocytometer (SE.GE1984-10) is a precision 10-key electronic blood cell counter designed for haematology laboratories, pathology clinics, research institutions, and educational facilities. Built for accuracy and ease of use, this benchtop unit enables clinicians and researchers to perform differential white blood cell counts quickly and reliably.
With 10 independently assignable category keys, the counter allows simultaneous tracking of up to 10 distinct cell types. Each category accumulates counts from 0 to 99, with a clear digital LED display providing real-time readout. The unit operates on standard Australian 240V AC power and delivers consistent performance in demanding laboratory environments.
Key Features
• 10 independent counting keys — assign one cell type per key
• Digital LED display with clear, easy-to-read readout
• Count capacity: 0–99 per category (10 groups)
• Audible beep on each key press for confirmation
• Compact benchtop design — fits standard lab workbenches
• Australian mains power: AC 240V, 60Hz — no batteries required
• Low power consumption: 5W rated
• Durable housing with professional finish
• Ideal for differential blood cell counting in clinical and research settings

How to Use
Follow these steps for accurate differential blood cell counting:
1. Place the unit on a clean, flat benchtop surface near your microscope.
2. Connect the power cable to a standard 240V Australian mains outlet and switch on the unit.
3. Assign each of the 10 numbered keys to a specific cell type (e.g., Key 1 = Neutrophils, Key 2 = Lymphocytes, etc.) according to your laboratory's differential counting protocol.
4. Load your prepared blood smear slide onto the microscope stage and focus to the appropriate magnification (typically 100× oil immersion for white cell differentials).
5. Begin scanning the slide. Each time you identify a cell type, press the corresponding numbered key. The unit emits an audible beep to confirm each count.
6. Monitor the running count for each category on the digital LED display in real time.
7. Once a full differential count is complete (typically 100 cells), record results from the display.
8. Reset individual counters or all categories as needed between samples.
9. Power off the unit when the counting session is complete.
Note: Always follow your institution's standard operating procedures (SOPs) for blood cell counting. Ensure slides are properly stained (e.g., Giemsa or Wright's stain) before commencing the count.
