Differential Blood Cell Counter – 2-Key, 5-Key & 8-Key Lab Tally Counter with Bell
A precision manual tally counter for differential blood cell counts — available in 2-key, 5-key, and 8-key configurations. Each variant features a 100-count bell alarm, reset knob, acid-resistant high-impact plastic body, and non-slip base. Choose the key count that matches your workflow, from simple two-category counts to full Schilling differentials.
Three Key Configurations. One Trusted Design.
Whether you need a simple two-category tally, a five-cell differential, or a full Schilling leukocyte classification, this blood cell counter family has the right configuration for your laboratory. All three variants share the same rugged mechanical design, audible 100-count bell alarm, and fast-reset knob — so you can standardise on one proven instrument across your bench, teaching lab, or research group.
Which Variant is Right for You?
2-Key Counter:
The simplest option — ideal for two-category counts such as live/dead cell assays, positive/negative scoring, normal/abnormal morphology screens, or any binary tally task. Compact, fast, and easy to use with one hand.
5-Key Counter:
A mid-range option for streamlined differential counts covering the five major leukocyte types: neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils. Well-suited to routine hematology, veterinary diagnostics, and teaching environments where a full Schilling breakdown is not required.
8-Key Counter:
The full-feature option — eight keys mapped to the complete Schilling leukocyte classification, including band and segmented neutrophils alongside lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, and additional categories. The professional choice for clinical hematology laboratories and detailed research work.
Shared Features Across Every Variant:
• Audible bell alarm at 100 cumulative counts — percentages read out directly
• Left and right reset knobs — return every window to zero with a turn of the dial
• Firm, tactile keys — every press registers cleanly
• Acid-resistant, high-impact plastic body — withstands routine lab solvent exposure
• Non-slip base — stays put on any bench surface
• No batteries, no software — purely mechanical, always ready
• Six-month manufacturer warranty against manufacturing faults
How It Works
As you observe and identify each cell type under the microscope, press the corresponding key. The total count display tracks your running tally. When the cumulative count reaches 100, a bell rings — each individual key's window then reads as a percentage of the sample. Turn the reset knob until all windows return to zero, and you are ready for the next slide.
Who Uses These Counters?
• Hematology and clinical pathology laboratories (typically 5-key or 8-key)
• Veterinary diagnostic labs (5-key covers most routine species differentials)
• Research labs performing cell viability or morphology assays (2-key)
• Medical, nursing, and lab-science educators (any variant by course level)
• Quality-control teams cross-checking automated analyser results
What's in the Box
• 1 x blood cell counter in the variant you select (2-key, 5-key, or 8-key)
• 1 x operating, inspection, and warranty instruction sheet
Warranty
Every unit ships with a standard six-month manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing faults. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes, or damage caused by solvents and cleaning solutions.
