The Tensile Test Machine is used for studying 'Strength of Materials'. It measures the stretch of a thin wire as a tensile force is applied, and records the wire's elasticity upon removal of the force. As the wire approaches its breaking point, its diameter decreases. It measures the tensile strength of metals, using wire and normal slotted weights for small forces. The apparatus offers three distinct anchor points for the wires, allowing for testing at varying lengths and increasing efficiency.
