The Hall Effect Apparatus with Power Unit and Probe is used to demonstrate and measure the Hall Effect, a phenomenon that occurs when a current-carrying conductor is exposed to a magnetic field resulting in a perpendicular voltage difference. It is ideal for studying material properties, such as charge carriers and mobility, in conductive materials.
The power supply offers a consistent current supply (even when resistance may change due to heating) for the solenoids and can measure in mT (milliTesla) with the Hall Effect probe.
