The Kundt’s Apparatus with Speaker and Microphone is used for studying sound and waves, including standing waves, resonance, musical instruments, and tones.

The Apparatus Includes: 

• 1 x Transparent resonance tube, 850mm long with metric scale
• 2 x Side holes and sliding shutters, an adjustable piston, a miniature microphone which can be passed up the tube,  a mini-speaker that fits to one end of the tube and produces the sound waves, a driver to interface the speaker to an amplifier or oscilloscope and an instruction booklet
• 1 x Piston on a long rod to create various length closed tubes
• 1 x Microphone and cable on long blade to pass through a slot in the piston and to place the microphone to any position along the tube
• 1 x Buffer unit to interface the microphone to an amplifier or oscilloscope
