The Van De Graaff Upgrade Kit is suitable for both small and large models. It enables conversion of very old models (that have a non-ball bearing upper pulley) to later models with ball bearings in the upper pulley. The kit also replaces the pulley mounting and combs, and includes a new charging belt. A Van de Graaff generator creates and accumulates a significant amount of static electricity on a metal sphere. 

Upgrade Kit Includes:

• 1 x Top pulley (with ball races) and bracket assembly
• 1 x Large molded plastic collar for bracket assembly
• 1 x Top comb to receive charge from belt (fitted to bracket)
• 1 x Rubber belt
