A Thermocouple (called a 'T' type) is a specialized device that produces a voltage when subjected to heat. The device is composed of two wires made of different materials, which are fused together through welding. This junction between the metals generates a voltage that varies with temperature, allowing it to be used in instruments that can measure high temperatures and are calibrated in degrees. This precise voltage is compatible for temperature control when used with a controller.
