The Hall Effect Apparatus with Power Unit and Probe is used to demonstrate and measure the Hall Effect, a phenomenon that occurs when a current-carrying conductor is exposed to a magnetic field, resulting in a perpendicular voltage difference. It is ideal for studying material properties, such as charge carriers and mobility, in conductive materials.
The power supply offers a consistent current supply (even when resistance may change due to heating) for the solenoids and can measure in mT (milliTesla) with the Hall Effect probe.
The equipment required for magnetic experiments includes a pair of Helmholtz coils, SE.EM1915-001 and an Air Cored Solenoid SE.EM0090-001
