Electrodes Fixed or Adjustable Plates
Electrodes with Fixed or Adjustable Plates are primarily utilized for assessing conductivity levels in liquids. Certain models feature lamps that are connected in series with the plates, while others utilize fixed stainless steel rods for measurement purposes.
Adjustable: Simplifies measurements and speeds up experiments. Can be placed directly over a beaker and have a 75mm length. They are insulated except for a 10mm x 10mm area at the tips and can be adjusted for variable separation.
Fixed: Come with an MES threaded lamp socket that can fit a standard small torch globe, visibly indicating the flow of current between electrodes. The globe's rating may vary based on the electrolyte's conductivity and the type of experiment being performed.
